At Eden House, we are looking for a part time Care Assistant to join our home, working every weekend, with a mixture of morning and late shifts. This role is for 12-20 hours a week. As a key member of the care team, you’ll put residents first, always going the extra mile to make sure individuals receive high quality care in a safe and dignified way. You’ll lead by example, supporting and inspiring other team members to deliver the very best standards of care. Communication is key and you’ll liaise with various healthcare professionals to ensure residents get the medical care they need. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you’ll use your initiative and talent to contribute to the success of the home. In return, we’ll help you build a successful career.
To be successful in this role you’ll be dedicated and passionate about helping others, being enthusiastic, positive with a can-do attitude. Experience is preferable but not essential as it’s more about being a warm, friendly and compassionate person who’s as committed as we are.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Support and encourage residents to maintain their independence and quality of life
- Lead by example, inspiring colleagues to uphold the highest standards of care
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and companionship
- Ensure compliance with care plans, policies, and procedures to deliver safe and effective care
