Job Overview
We are seeking a bank worker to cover our cook and cleaner holidays and sickness. responsible for preparing delicious meals and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and waste disposal
- Organise ingredients and supplies for efficient meal preparation
- Assist with serving meals when required, providing excellent customer service
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Support with general cleaning duties across the premises to uphold hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a professional setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Serving experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
