Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join a team in Yeovil. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to move, lift, and stack materials on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate telehandlers to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and report any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations on site.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence for heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
- Familiarity with excavators is advantageous, enhancing versatility on site.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Requirements
- In-date and physical CPCS or NPORS ticket.
- 3-point PPE.
- Vast experience operating Telescopic Handlers.
