Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care and education in our nursery setting. If you are passionate about early years education and enjoy working in a nurturing and dynamic environment, this role is perfect for you.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the development of young children, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and academically within our nursery.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional care and education for children aged 0-5 years in a nursery environment.
* Develop and implement fun, engaging activities that promote children's physical, social, and emotional development.
* Ensure a safe and nurturing environment within the nursery where children can thrive.
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring ongoing communication about their child’s progress in the nursery setting.
* Observe, assess, and record children's development, adapting activities to support their individual learning needs.
* Support daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play, maintaining structure and flexibility.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years education setting is essential.
* A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for working with young children in a nursery setting.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and health & safety standards in a nursery environment.
