Summary
The Governors of Manor Road Primary School wish to appoint a Welfare Assistant to join our mid-day supervision team. We are looking for candidates who will:
- Develop positive relationships with both children and adults
- Help children organise playground games
- Be kind, caring and manage behaviour in accordance with the school behaviour policy
- Help make lunch times a happy and safe place for our children.
- Help supervise the children in the dining room.
This post is term time only, part time (11.45am -1.15pm) each school day. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent.
Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
We will also check your application form and references closely. The successful candidate will need DBS clearance before taking up the post.
The closing date is 12 noon 10/07/2026. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
