Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sandwich Artist to join our team. At The Deli by Baretto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and customer engagement while working within a supportive team. Prior experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or drive-thru
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food hygiene standards are met
- Assist in opening or closing procedures as required

- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour

- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions
- Previous experience in food service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
