Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a clean and hygienic environment. Prior commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is highly desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial facilities
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company standards and client specifications to ensure consistent quality of service
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when working within client premises
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations is advantageous
