Maths Teacher – South Manchester - September 2026
Teaching Personnel are recruiting qualified Maths Teachers for a range of secondary schools in Hyde and Tameside. We are seeking teachers to start in September 2026 to fulfill full time teaching roles.
We are looking for committed teachers with experience teaching Maths to secondary level, who can deliver engaging lessons and support students across KS3 and KS4.
The Role

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Maths department
Requirements
-
Hold UK QTS or ECT status
-
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (ECTs also welcome)

Strong classroom management skills

Based in South Manchester or able to commute to schools in Hyde/ Tameside

Committed to safeguarding and student development

Ability to interview/trial before the summer holidays
