Event Staff – Overseeing family events and workshops
Location: Central Derby
Pay: Rates starting from £14.00 per hour
Independent Events is looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Event Staff to join our team for a range of exciting events.
Our events are often very family focussed and we love to work with people from a performance background, this is required for some but not all jobs.
We are currently prioritising applicants who are available on Friday 31st July, with further opportunities available throughout the summer and beyond.
You'll be supporting a variety of live events, brand activations and family experiences, engaging with members of the public and ensuring every event runs smoothly.
The Role
- Welcome and engage with visitors.
- Support the delivery of live events and promotional activities.
- Create a fun, friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Assist with event set-up and pack-down where required.
- Represent Independent Events and our clients to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
- Confident and outgoing individuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous event, promotional, customer service or performance experience is desirable but not essential.
