An exciting opportunity has become available for a Staff Nurse working at Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke. The role is for a Paediatric trained staff nurse to work predominantly in a surgical ward setting.
We cover a wide range of surgical specialities including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology.
The role will also be supporting the care of Oncology and Medical patients.

The role will be to provide safe and efficient care to the patients and families of those admitted to the Surgical and Oncology Paediatric Ward. To provide clinical advice to patients, families and carers. To contribute to the development and implementation of the 10 key roles for nursing to enhance and advance nursing roles within a local and national framework.
The role will involve planning and implementing care on a variety of patients and using a variety of equipment such as PCA's, Epidurals, AirVo, Traction and more. We offer education and training annually on these devices.
To develop and maintain a dialogue with all internal and external agencies required to ensure a high standard or patient care.
