About the Team
The Assistant Data Analyst role is to support and contribute to the output of the MI team. The MI team provide companywide resources and Management Information across a wide range of business areas and reporting platforms.
The MI team over the last few years have been developing and implementing several new technologies to keep e2e up to date and current. These developments are:
· SQL Server integration to Azure Data Lake
· Microsoft Power BI
· Online reporting hub
· Power BI Report Builder
· Microsoft Products – Excel, Power Automate, Power Point
The MI use these platforms to create semantic data models for use in delivering targeted interactive dashboards and reports to end users. Our end users comprise of
· Internal staff and departments
· Group membership
· External Clients
The Role
The individual will report to the Data Analyst Controller and will be expected to work using their own initiative. An appetite for continuous improvement and increase your knowledge of our business and clients is key.
- Support MI products and assets across the entire business
- Build and maintain reports across the platforms
- Reviewing and resolving client, member and bidder queries
- Confidently use bespoke systems
- Assist MI stakeholders’ with engagement with our delivered content.
- Use initiative and confidently ask questions/raise any areas requiring attention.
Skills and Experience
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft systems
· Data Handing
· Adaptable and flexible.
· Able to work without supervision.
· A quick learner with strong communication skills.
· Capable of establishing good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
· Meticulous with strong eye for detail.
· Ability to extract information and present in a professional format.

A generous holiday entitlement of 25 days (FTE) (plus bank holidays) per year is offered. As this is a part time role, a pro-rata amount will be calculated.
Job Type: Part-time Temporary (Maternity cover) 12 Months.
