Insequa Ltd is a leading social care consultancy operating across the UK. We provide business growth and compliance management services for social care providers and we are seeking a Bid Manager to join our existing team for a 1-year, fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with clients to lead the development and submission of compelling bids to secure new contracts within the social care sector.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to use your knowledge and expertise of the social care sector in the UK make a meaningful impact to clients' bid and broader business prospects.
This is a work-from-home position as Insequa operates a fully-remote business model to ensure we can hire the very best talent from across the country. Occasional travel to client premises may be required.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end bid processes for social care contracts, including planning, writing, and submission of proposals.
- Analyse client requirements and develop tailored bid strategies that highlight organisational strengths and value propositions.
- Collaborate closely with client-side operational teams, finance, and senior management to gather necessary information and ensure bid accuracy.
- Maintain bid records efficiently.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to produce high-quality bid documents that meet client specifications.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities within the social care sector to inform bid strategies.
- Ensure all bids comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organisational policies.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of social care services, funding mechanisms, and contractual requirements to enhance bid quality.
Qualifications
- Up to date knowledge of the social care sector across the UK.
- Proven experience in bid management within the social care or related sectors.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under rigid deadlines.
- Exceptional written communication skills with attention to detail in proposal development.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with procurement mechanisms is advantageous.
- A proactive approach with strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
