Mobile Water Treatment Engineer – £42,000 – London & Home Counties
We’re seeking a Mobile Water Treatment Engineer to join a growing and reputable company specialising in water hygiene and treatment solutions across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Legionella control, water treatment, and electrical installation who’s looking for stability, variety.
Package:
- Salary: £42,000 per annum
- Hours: 40-hour week
- Travel: Door-to-door paid
- Vehicle: Company van & fuel card (personal use included)
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays (rising to 30 days with service)
- Overtime: Standard rates + guaranteed 8 hours pay on Saturdays

Areas Covered:
- Based in Essex, covering London & Home Counties (office based in Essex)
The Role:
- Install, service, and maintain water treatment and Legionella control systems
- 50/50 split between Legionella work and electrical installations
- Electrical installation tasks including:
- Steel & PVC cable tray, conduit, and trunking
- SWA and multicore cable installation and termination
- Wiring, following diagrams and manufacturer manuals
- Fault finding with power and signal cabling
- Assist with:
- PVC pipework installation for motive water supplies
- Chemical dosing systems and pumps
- General water treatment plant installation
Requirements:
- Legionella experience (L8 knowledge desirable)
- Electrical knowledge or qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds preferred)
- Competence in electrical installation and basic mechanical skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
