Join Our Lovely (and Slightly Obsessed-With-Cleaning) Team!
Derbyshire Domestic Services is on the lookout for a new part-time team member to join our ever-growing (but still delightfully small) business. Your regular schedule will be between 09:00 - 15:00 Thursday and Friday, though if are able to cover additional days occasionally that would increase your chances of success.
We’re a close-knit bunch who work together most days—think teamwork, good vibes, and the occasional solo mission where you get to enjoy your own company (and a very satisfying hoover line or two).
The practical bits:
- Fully employed
- Hours that fit nicely around school runs: 9am – 3pm
- 10 hours per week guarenteed
- Yes, we do work during school holidays too, though we're closed all bank holidays and Christmas Eve to New Year
Now, let’s be honest about the job…
We don’t do “quick wipes and hope for the best.” We pride ourselves on retaining our client base by delivering a consistent service well above the norm, which means:
- You’ll need a proper eye for detail
- You’ll need to genuinely care about doing a great job
- You'll need to be reliable
- And you’ll need to be fairly fit—this is proper, physically demanding work
No experience? No problem. We can teach you how to clean like a pro. What we can’t teach is a great attitude—so you’ll need to bring that with you.
Our clients are genuinely lovely people with busy lives, and we take a lot of pride in leaving them walking into spotless homes and going “wow.”
What you’ll get in return:

The important (but necessary) bits:
- You’ll need a full driving licence and your own car
- You must be happy to complete an enhanced DBS check (with a minimum 3-year UK work history)
