- Pattern: 5 days per week on a rota basis
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 0800 -1700
- Salary: £13.25 p/h, with the opportunity to progress to a Line Supervisor at £14.25 p/h
- Reports to: Production Supervisor/Production Manager
- Location: Dungannon

The Role
The Senior/Skilled Production Operator will support the day-to-day running of a fast-paced food production line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently achieved. The role also provides leadership and support to the wider team, with opportunities to step into supervisory responsibilities and progress into a Line Supervisor position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production lines safely and efficiently to achieve production targets and customer standards.
- Monitor line performance and address issues relating to downtime, waste, breakdowns, and quality.
- Complete production records, work orders, and shift handovers accurately.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, and company standards.
- Carry out quality checks, process controls, and traceability procedures.
- Promote safe working practices, PPE compliance, and high housekeeping standards.
- Work closely with Supervisors, Engineering, Technical, and production teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Support and guide team members, providing cover for Line Supervisors when required.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and safety documentation for compliance and audits.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a food manufacturing, production, or fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Good English skills with the ability to follow instructions and complete documentation accurately
- Understanding of Food Safety, Quality, Health & Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Experience working to production targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently, and communicate effectively within a team.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping, attendance, and a proactive attitude to work.
- Positive team player with a willingness to learn and develop.
Desirable Criteria
- Food Safety Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
- Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH or equivalent).
- Experience supporting audits, machinery start-up checks, and basic fault reporting.
