We are looking for a motivated individual to join our specialised Processing Service Centre team in a small, busy warehouse in Winnersh, Berkshire.
Working in a small team within the warehouse operations at an international service centre, this role performs a series of vital Quality Assurance checks, electrical testing, data input and packaging. This role requires excellent attention to detail, experience and confidence of PC use and problem-solving skills.
Typical tasks you’ll be expected to perform at the highest level:
- Data Input –_ We need someone with excellent computer skills. The role involves a lot of time spent looking a specialised database, you need to be comfortable and confident with a PC._
- Packaging – delicate equipment travelling across the globe needs to be packaged carefully with care and caution to ensure it arrives without damage.
- Attention to Details & Problem Solving – this role is the last set of eyes on the units before they return to the customer, we need someone who can ensure that all information on the systems is present and correct. Someone who can spot the errors and make the right decisions to correct them.
- Writing skills - many tasks are paper based so you must be confident to copy serial numbers and copy data
- Helping to ensuring Warehouse and workplace areas are kept clean – because we look after our work space
- Lifting and carrying multiple items – this is not a desk job, there is lots of lifting and moving but we have plenty of tools to help make it easier
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers –_ we want to work well both for the team and our customer, everyone plays a role in ensuring we do this right_
- Adhere to Health & Safety requirements – we’re a small and busy centre, H&S is paramount
38hrs per week, between 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
