Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver's Mate to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong focus on teamwork, as you will work closely with drivers to load and unload vehicles, as well as manage warehouse tasks.
Monday to Friday 7am start.
Duties
- Assist drivers in loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Ensure that all items are securely packed and stored during transit
- Engage in picking and packing of orders for dispatch
- Contact customers to inform of delivery time
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable
- Experience of heavy lifting tasks is beneficial
- Ability to perform picking and packing duties accurately and efficiently
