We are looking for a warm, professional, and highly organised Patient Experience Concierge / Dental Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our practice. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for people and delivering outstanding service. Whether your background is in hospitality, cabin crew, hotels, customer service, healthcare, or administration, we would love to hear from you.
No dental experience is required. We can train you in dentistry; we're looking for someone who already understands what exceptional customer service looks like.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they contact the practice until the end of their visit. You will combine outstanding customer service with strong organisational and administrative skills to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile
- Create a five-star patient experience from arrival to departure
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
- Answer telephone calls confidently and courteously, directing enquiries appropriately
- Respond to patient emails and correspondence promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required
- Process payments and assist with finance and insurance-related administration
- Ensure the reception area remains organised, welcoming, and well-presented at all times
- Support patients throughout their journey with the practice, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for
- Assist the clinical and management teams with administrative and clerical duties
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the practice

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, reception, administration, healthcare, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn practice management software
- Experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential
- Full training will be provided for the right candidate
