We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Supervisor to oversee domestic projects across multiple live sites. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role ideal for a seasoned professional who can lead by example, manage people effectively, and ensure high‑quality workmanship across all projects.
You will play a key role in supervising works, coordinating materials, and maintaining strong on‑site relationships with clients and trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise multiple domestic carpentry projects on site
- Manage day‑to‑day site operations and ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Coordinate and collect materials from builders’ merchants when required
- Liaise professionally with clients, trades, and project stakeholders
- Ensure health & safety and site standards are maintained at all times
- Support and guide site teams with a practical, hands‑on approach
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 10 years’ carpentry experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Own transport and tools
- Strong people skills with the ability to lead and communicate effectively
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple sites
Desirable
- Experience across domestic refurbishment or residential projects
- Strong local knowledge of South London / Kent suppliers and merchants
Location & Work Pattern
- Location: Beckenham, Bromley, South London & Kent
- Work Type: Field / On‑site, domestic projects
- Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime: Additional hours and weekend work available
Pay & Benefits
- £65,000 – £70,000 per year
- Fuel card provided
- Ongoing work across varied domestic projects
