HOMAG CNC Operative (Woodworking)

We are currently seeking an experienced HOMAG CNC Operative to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a background in woodworking and CNC machining to work within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment producing bespoke and high-quality wood products.
Set up, operate, and monitor HOMAG CNC machinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
Programme and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production.
Manufacture components to precise dimensions and quality standards.
Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Inspect finished products and conduct quality checks.
Ensure materials are used efficiently to minimise waste.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Work closely with production and design teams to meet deadlines.
Proven experience operating HOMAG CNC woodworking machinery.
Strong understanding of woodworking materials, processes, and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience with CNC programming and machine setup.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
Experience within furniture, joinery, shopfitting, or bespoke woodworking industries.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
Experience with edge banding, nesting, or beam saw operations.
