Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Café Team Members to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service, preparing a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and speciality drinks, ensuring high quality standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, and snacks.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support team members during busy periods to deliver seamless customer service.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is essential to ensure hygiene and safety protocols are maintained.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work well within a team whilst also demonstrating independence when required.

Pay: £12.21-£13.64 per hour
