Evo Renewables is a growing NICEIC and MCS approved electrical and renewable contractor specialising in high quality solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and electrical installations across domestic and commercial projects.
We work across a wide variety of projects including residential solar and battery installations, EV charging, air conditioning and commercial electrical maintenance within high street retail environments. The Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced electrician to join our team and take a leading role on site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running day to day installations, leading the on site team and carrying out the installation, commissioning and handover of solar PV and battery storage systems. The role will also involve EV charger installations and commercial electrical maintenance works within retail stores.
This is a hands on role within a fast moving and ever changing environment, requiring someone who is organised, adaptable and capable of maintaining high standards under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage on site installation teams
- Install and commission solar PV systems and battery storage
- Carry out testing, inspection and fault finding
- Complete system handovers and customer demonstrations
- Install EV charging equipment
- Carry out commercial electrical maintenance and reactive works
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with BS7671
- Complete relevant certification and installation documentation
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism
Requirements
Essential:
- Fully qualified electrician
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Good communication and problem solving skills
Desirable:
- Solar PV qualification and experience
- EV charging qualification and experience
- Experience commissioning battery storage systems
- Experience within commercial environments

Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
