Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant HR Manager to support our human resources team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with HR operations, employee relations, and data management. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with organisational goals.
- Support recruitment activities, including managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Taleo and Workday.
- Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring smooth integration of new employees into the organisation.
- Supervise and mentor junior HR staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain and update employee records using HRIS platforms like PeopleSoft and Workday, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve workforce planning strategies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on HR metrics, programmes, or initiatives to management teams.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and assist in resolving employee relations issues promptly.
- Support management in performance appraisal processes and succession planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies across all HR functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management, including supervising or managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Taleo, and ATS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics effectively for strategic planning.
- Proficiency in presentation skills for delivering reports and proposals confidently to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with management principles within a human resources context.
- Organising skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with management of human resources systems like Workday or Taleo is highly desirable.

Pay: £30,017.54-£59,872.17 per year
