Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders promptly, providing recommendations when appropriate.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with company standards and legal requirements for responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, handling payments and issuing receipts.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote safety and prevent over-service in compliance with licensing laws.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully stocked throughout shifts.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, particularly in bars or restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
