Are you an experienced senior support worker or residential team leader passionate about supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs? Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking a committed professional to lead, support, and motivate a team in a dynamic residential setting in Corwen. This is a rewarding opportunity to influence positive change and deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support young people in building positive relationships and reaching their full potential
Lead shifts as a positive role model and mentor to staff and young people
Promote a person-centred, therapeutic approach to care
Work collaboratively with education, therapy, and management teams
Participate in the Management On-Call rota and provide effective leadership during your shift
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 12 months’ experience in a children’s residential care setting
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People or equivalent
Proven experience in leading or supporting a staff team
Full UK manual driving licence (a company car is provided during work hours)
Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends
Willingness to join the management On-Call system
Competence in using electronic care recording systems; experience with Clearcare is advantageous but training is provided
