No two days are the same. You'll work on a variety of projects across the UK, helping to install life-saving passive and structural fire protection systems in both occupied buildings and new-build developments. The Role
As a Trainee Fire Protection Engineer, you will work alongside experienced operatives and supervisors, learning specialist skills that play a vital role in improving building safety and compliance.
You will be involved in the installation of passive and structural fire protection systems across a wide range of commercial, residential, public sector, and construction projects throughout the UK.
The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. As your skills develop, you'll be given increasing responsibility and opportunities to progress within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of passive and structural fire protection systems.
- Work safely and efficiently on live and new-build construction sites.
- Follow company procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
- Learn specialist fire protection installation techniques and best practices.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism at all times.
- Travel to projects across the UK as required.
- Support the delivery of projects within programme deadlines.
About You

- Hold a valid CSCS Card.

Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Reliable, hardworking, and motivated to succeed.

- Able to work well within a team environment.
- Professional, punctual, and committed to high standards.
- Comfortable working in a construction environment.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
Desirable
- Previous experience in construction, passive fire protection, building maintenance, or a trade environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Full training will be provided for the right candidates, but attitude, commitment, and a willingness to learn are essential.
