Counterbalance Forklift Driver Job Overview:
We are recruiting for Counterbalance Operative for a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality steel products based in the UK.
This is a full-time, based on an afternoon shift role working 2:00pm to 10:00pm.
Counterbalance Forklift Driver Key Responsibilities:
- Manage goods in and goods out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Pick and pack a range of products to meet dispatch deadlines.
- Load and unload vehicles manually and with material handling equipment (MHE).
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse.
- Keep warehouse systems and stock records accurate and up to date.
- Book in materials using the in-house system.
- Work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail in all tasks.
Counterbalance Forklift Driver Key Skills:
- Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence dated within the last 3 years.
- Have previous experience in a stores, dispatch, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate methodical working practices and good materials handling experience.
- Be computer literate and confident using dispatch or stock control systems.
- Aplicants must be flexible and available to provide cover for holidays and sickness when required.
