Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love of learning. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in childcare and early childhood education to make a positive impact on children's lives. Working hours are: 40 hours spread over 4 days, 7:30am-6pm. 48 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
- Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records to support their development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills when required.
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies and procedures to protect the welfare of children in our care.
Experience
- a Level 3 or above Early Years Qualification.
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience with organising activities that support early development milestones.

Pay: £25,396.80-£35,000.00 per year
