As our nursery continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young children develop, learn through play and build confidence during the most important stages of their education.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development through engaging, child-centred activities and high-quality interactions.
Working alongside a welcoming team, you will help create an inclusive environment where children feel happy, safe and inspired to explore and learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive and professional relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Support children's learning and development through play-based experiences
- Promote children's communication, language and social development
- Help create a stimulating, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
- Observe, assess and record children's progress where required
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and independence
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection
- Work collaboratively as part of the wider nursery and school team
About You
We would love to hear from candidates who:
- Have experience working within an Early Years setting
- Hold a minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Are passionate about supporting young children's development
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understand the importance of play in early learning
- Are caring, enthusiastic and reliable
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable but training can be provided)
