POSITION
We are opening up auditions for short order cooks/caterers to join our kitchen team and help us deliver a consistently high quality experience.
We are seeking a fast, enthusiastic team player with a passion for food and plating up attractive dishes who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Our menu is focused on Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch options.
DUTIES
- Food preparation.
- Making short order Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch items for Cafe and Deliveroo/Uber Eats/Just Eat:
- Making sandwich platters & salads for outside catering
- Food packaging and labelling.
- Check, rotate and put away deliveries in accordance to procedures
- Assist in kitchen cleaning duties in accordance to schedule
EXPERIENCE
- Must be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- 2 years previous experience in a similar role: cafe, takeaway or deli.
- Good knife skills.
- Be able to prepare and plate up or pack short orders quickly
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Qualification level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene preferable
HOURS
- 30 hours
- Normal Days: Monday to Friday
- (No weekend or night shifts!!)
- Normal hours: 7am to 2.30 pm
- Immediate Start
- Holidays include Christmas & New Year period and all Bank Holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.25 per hour
