Located on Ludgate Hill, just on the corner of St Paul’s Cathedral, one of the most iconic London landmarks, Lost Property hotel has 145 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar called Found, a coffee house called Tattle, and a gym.
Our Found restaurant has been nominated for the World Culinary Awards in the Best New Restaurant category and shortlisted for the Best FB Marketing Campaign at HMA, Hotel Marketing Awards. The hotel has also won Boutique Hotel of the Year in London title at the Travel Hospitality Awards 2024.

About The Role
As a Bartender at Lost Property St Paul's - Curio Collection, you will deliver exceptional beverage experiences that reflect the personality and energy of our bar. From expertly crafted cocktails to engaging guest interactions, you will create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and product knowledge. Working as part of a collaborative Food Beverage team, you will contribute to seamless operations across the bar and wider outlets, supporting both guest satisfaction and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, engaging service to guests, creating memorable experiences from welcome to farewell.
- Prepare cocktails, wines, spirits, coffees, and speciality beverages consistently to brand and quality standards.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently recommend drinks, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
- Manage bar service efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards across the bar and back-of-house areas.
- Handle payments accurately in line with hotel procedures and maintain accountability for cash handling and billing.
- Support upselling initiatives and promote hotel experiences to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Follow all licensing, allergen, food safety, and Health Safety procedures at all times.
- Support colleagues across Food Beverage outlets as required, contributing to a positive team environment.
Key Skills
- Strong beverage knowledge, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and speciality drinks.
- Excellent guest service skills with a confident and engaging communication style.
- High attention to detail across preparation, presentation, and cleanliness standards.
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments accurately.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy service periods.

- Previous experience working in a bar within a hotel, restaurant, or cocktail-led environment.
- Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Confident preparing cocktails and beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Professional, well presented, and organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A supportive team player who contributes to a collaborative and energetic working environment.
