We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Executive to lead the growth of our US operation, helping healthcare providers navigate compliance requirements through innovative digital learning solutions.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in launching and scaling our US market presence. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape our strategy, identify commercial opportunities, build partnerships and drive revenue growth within the healthcare and care provider sectors.
The successful candidate will combine deep sector knowledge with strong sales and business development expertise and a genuine understanding of technology enabled learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development activities to establish and grow our presence within the US healthcare and care provider market.
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities with healthcare organisations, care providers, home care agencies, assisted living providers and other regulated services.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and strategic partners.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers, including compliance leaders, operations directors, learning and development teams and executive leadership.
- Work closely with internal teams to adapt and position our e-learning solutions for the US market.
- Provide market intelligence and insight into US healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, workforce challenges and training needs.
- Support the development of sales strategies, marketing initiatives and product positioning.
- Achieve and exceed agreed revenue and growth targets.
About You
You will be a highly motivated healthcare business development professional with a proven track record of developing business within the healthcare or regulated care sectors within the US.
Essential Requirements
- Significant business development, sales or commercial experience within the US healthcare, care provider, or compliance sector.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare regulation, compliance requirements, and workforce training needs.
- Experience selling services, software, e-learning, learning management systems (LMS) or digital training solutions.
- Demonstrable success in generating new business and managing complex sales cycles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead market development activities.
- Experience working with healthcare compliance, workforce development or training providers.
- Existing network within US healthcare organisations, care providers, home care agencies or long-term care services.
- Experience supporting international market expansion.
- Knowledge of digital learning technologies and online training platforms.
