Job Title: Café Chef
Location: The Almonry Kitchen, High Street, Ely
Salary: £15 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time ( 35hrs per week - Rotational)
We're a small, passionate team committed to great food and genuine hospitality and we're looking for a skilled Café Cook to join us.
The Role
Working alongside our Chef Manager, you'll prepare all café food, keep the kitchen running smoothly, and help develop junior team members. If you thrive under pressure and take pride in consistent, quality cooking, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, consistent food every service
- Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and organisation
- Communicate allergen changes and adapt menu items as needed
- Support and mentor less experienced team members
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years' café or restaurant experience
- Food Safety Level 2 (Level 3 - desirable, not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- Great communication and time management
Hours
5 days over 7, including two weekends per month on a fair rota.
