Support Worker – Nursing Home
Location: Ludlow
Pay Rate: £12.85 - £25.70 per hour
Job Type: AD-HOC shifts - Days, nights
Shift types: 07.30-21.30, or 07.30-19.30, or 07.30-14.30, or 14.30-21.45, and the night shift is 21.30-07.30.
Salary for the shifts:
- £12.85ph standard day (Monday - Saturday)
- £17.09ph night rate
- £19.28ph Sunday day
- £25.70ph Bank holiday day
This job doesn't offer sponsorship and you must be able to work more than 20 hours per week.
Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting for a Support Worker – Nursing Home to join a well-established residential care setting in Ludlow.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support to residents
- Assist with mobility, nutrition, and hydration
- Support residents with emotional wellbeing and social activities
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate records in line with care standards
- Work collaboratively with nurses, carers, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience in a support worker, care assistant, or healthcare role
- Moving and Handling (Practical) training
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
