This is not a high-volume sales environment. Instead, you'll be engaging with key clients, understanding complex technical requirements, and helping deliver tailored engineering solutions that genuinely add value.
You'll inherit established customer relationships while also having the opportunity to identify and develop new business opportunities across both UK and international markets.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Building long-term relationships with engineering, operations and procurement stakeholders
- Identifying and supporting new business opportunities across the energy sector
- Working closely with internal engineering and project teams to develop customer solutions
- Attending customer meetings, site visits and industry events
- Supporting commercial growth across UK and international markets
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers
- Preparing technical proposals and supporting customer enquiries
What we're looking for
- Background in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, Automation or a related engineering discipline
- Experience gained within Energy, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Process Industries
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to discuss engineering solutions with customers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas
