Summary of role: Responsible for implementing field-based quality control systems and providing support to all Care Assistants within the Eastleigh and Winchester area. Within the job role Field Care Supervisors are required to have a flexible approach to work patterns/schedules
Principal responsibilities
- To carry out Individual Needs Assessments for new clients.
- To conduct client risk assessments as part of the Individual Needs Assessment and update as required.
- To ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in clients’ homes.
- To conduct client reviews and monitor all aspects of service delivery.
- To carry out introductory visits with Care Assistants and new clients.
- To facilitate in-field training when required and identify any additional training needs of Care Assistants.
- To monitor, supervise and mentor all Care Assistants in the field.
- To ensure that all written reports and administration is accurate and up to date.
- Utilize Access Care Planning and People Planning software
- To answer telephone enquiries when in the office.
- The role will also involve some paid On- Call duties.
- To assist with permanent allocation of Care Assistants to all client visits and ensure all visits are covered
- To ensure client records are kept up to date at all times in ACP.
