Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and efficient Takeout Staff to join our busy hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling takeout orders accurately, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their takeout orders via phone or in person
- Accurately record and process orders using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure all orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the takeout area
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Manage phone etiquette effectively, taking orders and providing information clearly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Assist with packaging food items securely for delivery or collection
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or guest services role is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent phone etiquette and organisational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
