Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Garden Maintenance Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and horticulture, with prior experience in garden maintenance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a small and friendly team, maintaining our customers' gardens and offering excellent customer service.
Duties
- use of hand tools and power tools
- prune, trim, and shape plants, shrubs, and trees
- planting, including flowers, shrubs, and trees
- perform general maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, weeding and strimming
- assist with seasonal garden clean-ups
- adhere to health and safety guidelines during all gardening activities
Qualifications
- prior experience in garden maintenance
- proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- knowledge of plant care
- physical fitness to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions
- a genuine interest in gardening
- valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites
The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of garden presentation and customer service while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.
You must be able to start and end the day in Park Street, St Albans, AL2
