Lune Valley Pods & Lodges are one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bespoke glamping pods, lodges, garden rooms and commercial accommodation units. We design, manufacture and install high-quality timber buildings from our Lancashire workshop, supplying customers across the UK and Ireland.
Due to continued growth, an increasing order book through to mid-2027, and several exciting larger-scale projects being secured, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a skilled and enthusiastic Painter & Decorator / Multi-Skilled Finishing Operative.
This is a varied and hands-on role that would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in wherever needed.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Internal and external painting and decorating of pods and lodges
- Preparing surfaces and ensuring high-quality finishes
- Snagging and finishing completed units prior to delivery
- General maintenance and handyman tasks
- Assisting various departments when required
- Minor joinery, fitting and finishing work
- Supporting site installation teams when necessary
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous painting and decorating experience
- Strong eye for detail and quality
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, punctual and willing to take ownership of tasks
Desirable:
- General handyman or maintenance experience
- Basic joinery or construction skills
- Experience working within manufacturing, modular construction, timber buildings or caravans

This is a full time permanent position, contracted to 42.5 hours per week; 8am start and 5pm finishes. Shifts are predominantly Monday – Friday but you will be required to work some planned weekends to meet the needs of the business, flexibility is a must.
