Overview
We are seeking a professional, personable and reliable Beauty Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a people person, driven, not afraid of hard work and will pride themselves on reliability. We work as a real team and help each other out, therefore some flexibility is needed at times.
As it stands this is a part time role, with the opportunity to pick up more hours as time goes on.
Hours required - Friday 2pm to 7pm, and two Saturdays per month 10am to 4pm. Overtime is often available should you want it.
As a small, service based business it is essential that you are reliable and committed. Client care is our absolute priority, and we pride ourselves on not letting them down. Please do not apply unless you are in a position to commit.
Duties
- Perform a variety of waxing treatments including Intimate waxing. This is our most popular treatment and we're looking for a skilled therapist in this area, although training would be provided for the right applicant.
- We also offer eyebrow waxing/tinting and LVL - experience in these treatments is desirable.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all treatment areas - A clean and tidy work environment is essential
- Ensure client comfort and satisfaction throughout each appointment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Friendly, professional demeanour with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly within reason - As a team we pitch in with holiday cover/sickness
- The salon can be really busy, particularly in Spring/Summer months and so a strong work ethic is essential
