Balfour Primary School requires an experienced, committed, adaptable and enthusiastic HLTA to join our hardworking team. The right person will be able to work as a team member predominately covering classes across the primary age range, but also working with small groups. The ideal candidate will have a music specialism to support the teaching of music across the school as part of planned PPA cover.
Hours: The post is term-time only, 31.25 hours per week. 8:30am - 3:45pm
Rate: NJC Scale 6 (actual starting salary will be £24,662.31)
Term: This post is permanent.
Paid weeks per year: 47.99 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Start date: 1 September 2026
