The Role
Are you highly organised, obsessed with the details, and passionate about delivering top-tier
customer service?
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team and act as the engine of our
delivery process. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers and internal colleagues, making sure that every order is handled efficiently and arrives on time. Whether you are managing the calendar for our very own BathroomsByDesign lorry or coordinating with our 3rd-party delivery partners, you will be the friendly, proactive voice keeping everything on track.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
● Master the Schedule: Own and manage the delivery calendar, ensuring accurate scheduling and optimized routes for the BBD lorry and our delivery partners.
● Be the Face (and Voice) of Delivery: Act as the main point of contact for customers and
internal teams (Sales, Warehouse, Customer Support). You’ll monitor incoming calls and maintain a high answer rate to ensure no query goes unheard.
● Proactive Communication: Keep our customers in the loop! You’ll deliver clear, timely,
and consistent updates throughout the delivery process so they always know where their
order is.
● Task & Inbox Management: Track, update, and resolve tasks in our internal system,
while keeping our shared logistics inbox highly responsive and actioned within agreed
timeframes.
● Problem Solve: Handle delivery issues or delays swiftly and smoothly, finding solutions
that minimize the impact on the customer experience.
● Tech & Routing: Manage and update the Track Pod App to optimize delivery routes,
maximizing efficiency and minimizing delays.
● Team Support: Step in to assist or cover the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator when
needed to keep the operation running seamlessly.
