About Us
Due to the nursery at Leavesden expanding we are looking for a Nursery Kitchen Assistant & Housekeeper at an exciting time in our company development.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Chef with preparing healthy meals and snacks & stepping in as Chef when they are absent.
- Meet children’s dietary, allergy, and nutritional needs.
- Deliver meals safely and on time to nursery rooms.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and food-safe.
- Help with stock checks, food orders, and kitchen records.
- Support cleaning, laundry, and wider nursery housekeeping.
- Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
- Support children’s wellbeing, learning, and daily routines.
- Building positive relationships with children, families and other team members.
- Be a positive role model to children.
- Model a commitment to child protection, equity and collective care

Desirable :
- An understanding of working with diverse communities and families
- Experience in a similar role within early years, elderly care, or education settings.
- An interest in the holistic development of young children
- A catering qualification- or experience working in a professional/comercial kitchen role
- Awareness of Food hygeine practices & procedures
