Wellbeing Assistant
Offering 21 hours per week, including some weekend working
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking team in a care home in Long Stratton. You will create, plan and deliver a high quality schedule of exciting activities that bring smiles, boost physical and mental wellbeing. We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong awareness of dementia care principles.
What Skills You'll Need:
- A confident people-person with a can-do attitude
- Experience working with the elderly and awareness of dementia care
- Full of ideas and a creative approach to building relationships
- Actively listening to resident needs, and adapting activities to suit individual abilities, interests, and wellbeing goals
- Creation of content for the home's social media account
- Motivating residents to take part in activities, promoting their independence and confidence

Pay: £13.10 per hour
