The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Machinist to operate and maintain embroidery machines to produce high-quality stitched designs on garments and other textile products. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine embroidery, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial embroidery machines to produce designs according to specifications
- Set up machines, including threading, hooping, and loading designs
- Read and interpret job sheets, artwork, and design instructions
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and defects
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults
- Manage workflow to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Always adhere to health and safety guidelines
