Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated professionals to specialise in the installation of granite and quartz worktops. This role involves precise craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes for our clients’ kitchens and bathrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related trades, with a focus on fabrication and installation of stone surfaces, and possess a strong understanding of health and safety standards on-site. Duties
- Measure, cut, and shape granite or quartz worktops according to client specifications using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Install worktops securely onto cabinetry, ensuring proper alignment and levelness.
- Use schematics and technical drawings to guide accurate installation processes.
- Operate various construction tools including masonry equipment, carpentry tools, and plastering tools as required.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Assist with site preparation, including surface levelling and support framework installation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Conduct quality checks post-installation to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or masonry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, fabrication machinery, and schematics interpretation.
- Knowledge of construction painting, plastering, carpentry, and general building practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and fitments.
- Physical fitness for lifting heavy materials and working at various heights or confined spaces.
- Relevant safety certifications or willingness to undertake health & safety training.
- Experience working with specialised materials like granite or quartz is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary. Pay: £24,420.00-£53,042.87 per year
