Role Overview:
As a Recruitment Officer, you will play a vital role in sourcing, screening, and onboarding care staff over the southern region, while ensuring compliance with employment regulations. You will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies to arranging training and shadowing programs, ensuring new hires are fully prepared to deliver outstanding care. Additionally, you will manage ongoing compliance for existing staff, including visa renewals and DBS checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for care roles.
- Advertise job vacancies on platforms like Indeed, attend local job fairs, and collaborate with job centers to source potential candidates.
- Pre-screen applicants, schedule interviews based on branch needs, and conduct structured interviews.
- Ensure all successful candidates complete necessary application forms and provide required documents.
- Oversee background checks, including reference verification and processing DBS applications.
- Organize induction training and shadowing programs to prepare new employees for their roles.
- Maintain compliance by tracking expiring visas, passports, and DBS certificates, ensuring timely renewals.
- Collaborate with the Care Coordinator to assess workforce needs and proactively address staffing shortages.
- Promote employee retention by managing candidate expectations and fostering a positive hiring experience.
Requirements:
- Strong communication, persuasion, and influencing skills.
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or a similar role is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
- Travel to branches across the region.

Benefits:
- Salary £25,000.00-£27,000.00 Per Year.
- Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
