West Building Supplies are coming to Hull.
As part of the company’s growth and development, a full-time vacancy has arisen for a Multi-drop Class 2 driver at our Hull branch. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of a successful business that provides an excellent all-round service throughout the East Riding, Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire.
As a driver at West Building Supplies your role will be to deliver building materials to and from our branches and to local customers in a safe and professional manner. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and as a driver, you are the face of the business and should always demonstrate professionalism whilst driving and with our customers.
Please note this role involves some manual handling of heavy goods
The ideal candidate will;
- Full, clean driving licence
- Full CPC and Digi Taco card essential
- Valid Hiab certificate for remote grab & hook preferred but not essential (Training can be provided)
- Current counter balance licence preferred but not essential (Training can be provided)
- Excellent customer service skills

Key responsibilities;
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Loading and unloading of materials safely and undamaged (using the HIAB if required)
- Ensuring vehicle checks are carried out daily
- Making sure all health and safety requirements are met
- Giving excellent customer service
