We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and reliable Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to join our growing team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will be supporting:
- Adults with Mental Health Disorders & Learning Disabilities: Focusing on independence, emotional support, and managing challenging behaviours with empathy.
- Elderly Residents: Providing dignified care within residential and nursing home settings.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of our team, your daily duties will include:
- Personal Care: Assisting with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene with dignity and respect.
- Emotional Support: Building meaningful relationships and providing a supportive environment for those with mental health challenges.
- Behavioural Support: Using de-escalation techniques to support individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours.
- Daily Living: Helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and encouraging social participation.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed daily logs to ensure continuity of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: One year experience in a UK based care home or social care organisation.
- Resilience: The ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations or when managing challenging behaviour.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
- Reliability: Our clients and service users depend on us; we need people we can count on.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills.
