Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Support children's individual needs, including those with special educational requirements or additional support needs.
- Assist in organising nursery resources and maintaining a clean, organised environment conducive to learning.
- Contribute to the planning of curriculum activities that align with early childhood education frameworks.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge within early years practice.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide junior staff and support team cohesion.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, safeguarding procedures, and early childhood education principles.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach towards young children.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently within a busy environment.
- Competence in managing behaviour positively and promoting inclusive practices.
- Driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between settings or community engagement activities.

Pay: £30,420.00-£31,000.00 per year
